Egyptian leader visits UAE, promoting regional developments with UAE

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi discussed regional developments in Abu Dhabi on Thursday. During the meeting, Sisi affirmed Egypt's solidarity with the Gulf state, along with its support for measures to protect its security and sovereignty.

The two leaders also discussed bilateral ties and cooperation, particularly in areas supporting development priorities and economic prosperity in both countries. Earlier Thursday, the two leaders visited an Egyptian fighter jet detachment stationed in the UAE and reviewed its operational readiness and capabilities.
