Water crisis deepens in Northern Gaza

The western areas of Jabalia in northern Gaza are witnessing a worsening humanitarian and public health crisis, as residents struggle to secure access to clean water amid widespread destruction and displacement.

Local accounts indicate that the Mekorot water line, which supplies parts of Jabalia from the east toward central areas, has been cut, significantly reducing water access for dozens of displaced families living in makeshift shelters.

In the absence of a stable supply, residentsare forced to wait daily for water tankers that arrive irregularly and under difficult and risky conditions, particularly in areas described as among the most dangerous in the northern region.
