President To Lam rings ceremonial bell at India’s NSE

Viet Nam’s president To Lam on Thursday visited India's financial capital Mumbai and participated in a ceremonial bell ringing at the National Stock Exchange (NSE). The event highlighted Viet Nam’s increasing engagement with India’s financial markets and investment ecosystem.

The ceremonial bell ringing is regarded as a prestigious diplomatic and economic gesture at the NSE, often reserved for heads of state, global investors and international delegations. During the visit, the Vietnamese delegation also interacted with Indian business leaders and representatives from the financial sector to discuss investment opportunities, digital economy cooperation and capital market partnerships.
