Declaration Ceremony: Nay Pyi Taw Census Report 2024

The Declaration Ceremony of Nay Pyi Taw Report on 2024 Population and Household Census List was held in Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory on Thursday with the attendance of Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing. 

In his remarks, the Union Minister underscored the future development plans in education, employment and socio-economic sectors based on population and household data recorded. He elaborated on effective utilization of the reports in all-aspects. Further regional development implementations based on the report and drafting policies and projects derived from the household data were also clarified during the event.

The Thematic Report compiled current population changes, education and living standard of the citizens. Furthermore, Myanmar’s implementation of United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, Myanmar’s involvement in ASEAN and International statistics sectors were highlighted.
