India-Japan Dialogue with focus on Healthcare

Co-chaired by Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare Jagat Prakash Nadda and Japan’s Minister in charge of Healthcare Policy, Kimi Onoda, the 3rd India and Japan Joint Committee Meeting on Healthcare was held at New Delhi on Tuesday.

The meeting, held under the India-Japan Memorandum of Cooperation, served as an important platform to advance partnership through regular dialogue.

India-Japan cooperation in healthcare is guided by a shared vision of strengthening health systems, improving accessibility, and promoting innovation for better health outcomes. Also, detailed presentations and discussions were held on prevention, diagnosis, treatment of deceases and digital health.
