French President Macron says he will speak with Iranian counterpart

Speaking during a press conference held as part of a summit in Yerevan, Armenia, French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday announced that he will speak with his Iranian counterpart "shortly," adding that he will be "calling for an end to all hostilities, a return to diplomatic negotiations and respect for all countries in the region.

Macron visited Armenia on May 4-5 for a high-profile state visit following the 8th European Political Community summit in Yerevan.
