China says ready to help Thailand, Cambodia rebuild mutual trust

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said on Wednesday that his countrywas willing to continue providing a platform to help both Thailand and Cambodia rebuild trust and improve ties.

Lin made the remarks at a news briefing that the ceasefire, resuming bilateral contacts, and resolving border disputes serve the fundamental and long-term interests of both Cambodia and Thailand. He added that China was ready to continue providing a platform for the two sides to rebuild mutual trust and improve their relations.
