France and Brazil hold joint amphibious exercise off Rio coast

As part of the Jeanne d'Arc 2026 mission, the French Navy, led by the amphibious assault ships conducted joint amphibious exercises with the Brazilian navy off the Rio de Janeiro coast.

These drills aimed to enhance interoperability between the two nations and involved specialized troops, helicopters, and armored vehicles. Moreover, the exercises allowed troops from both countries to embark on each other’s vessels, sharing procedures and improving interoperability between the two navies.
