India-New Zealand sign Free Trade Agreement

Ahead of India and New Zealand Free Trade Agreement signing at Bharat Mandapam, Indian Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal and New Zealand's Minister for Trade and Investment Todd McClay attended a business forum on Monday.

Speaking during the event, Indian Minister said India’s expansion in the global capability center space has been massive in the last 4-5 years. He highlighted that this FTA shows immense potential for deliverables between both the countries. On his side, New Zealand Minister said the agreement signed on Monday will reduce friction, provide certainty, and establish clear rules making it easier for businesses to plan, invest, and scales.
