Catherine, Princess of Wales, attended a parade and wreath-laying ceremony at the Cenotaph in London on Saturday to mark Anzac Day. The day commemorates Australians and New Zealanders who have served and died in conflicts worldwide.

The Princess made a solo appearance and later attended a service of commemoration and thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey. She laid a wreath on behalf of King Charles. Anzac Day has been observed in London since 1916, following the first service attended by King George V at Westminster Abbey to mark the Gallipoli landings. It is a public holiday in Australia and New Zealand, with memorial ceremonies held across both countries.
