Russian official lands in North Korea for memorial to soldiers killed in Kursk

Chairman of Russia’s State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin arrived in Pyongyang on Saturday. The Duma released a statement and images confirming the visit. On Sunday, Volodin is scheduled to attend the opening of a memorial complex dedicated to North Korean soldiers who died in Russia’s western Kursk region. These soldiers were deployed to the area in 2024.
