The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), citing multiple sources, has reported why US Vice President JD Vance put on hold his planned trip to Pakistan for talks with Iran.

The WSJ quoted one person as saying "the decision was made because Iran wouldn't commit to meeting." It also reported that another source said that while Vance could still leave later in the week, US President Donald Trump is privately discussing canceling the trip altogether.
