North Korea, Belarus sign friendship treaty during Lukashenko visit

On Thursday, North Korean and Belarusian leaders signed a friendship and cooperation treaty during President Alexander Lukashenko visit to North Korea.

Belarusian state news agency Belta quoting Lukashenko said that both countries must cooperate more closely and consolidate their efforts aimed at protecting their sovereignty and improving the well-being of their citizens in the modern realities of global transformation. Besides, North Korea express its support and understanding for the measures taken by Belarus’ leadership aimed at ensuring social and political stability and economic development, according to Belta.
