The Indian LPG tanker Nanda Devi docked at Vadinar Port in Gujarat on Tuesday carrying around 46,000 metric tonnes of liquefied petroleum gas.

The vessel traveled through the Strait of Hormuz, arriving amid rising concerns over potential cooking fuel shortages in India. This marks the second LPG tanker to successfully pass the Strait of Hormuz amid ongoing West Asia tensions.

A day earlier, another tanker, Shivalik, reached Mundra Port in Gujarat with over 46,000 metric tonnes of LPG. The arrivals provide relief to India’s energy supply amid fears of disruptions to fuel transport routes. Both tankers are part of efforts to maintain steady LPG supplies for domestic consumption.
