




Hong Kong Airlines announced an increase in passenger fuel surcharges starting Thursday, with a HK$150 surcharge for one-way flights to the Middle East and Europe. The Hong Kong Airlines website shows the adjustments.
For long-haul flights to the Middle East, Europe, and Africa, the fuel surcharge will increase approximately 25%, meaning passengers will pay an extra HK$300 round trip. For short-haul flights to Japan, South Korea, and Thailand, the fuel surcharge will increase of 30%.
