Cricket fans celebrate as India crush NZ to win T20 World Cup

Indian cricket fans cheer and wave flags after India crushed New Zealand by 96 runs in the T20 World Cup final at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday. Around 86,000 fans packed the world's largest cricket stadium to witness their team lift the title for a third time.

 "They have been playing good cricket in the last two years and they just wanted to follow the good cricketing habits that they had in the 2024 World Cup," said captain Suryakumar, who also played a key part in India's triumph two years ago under Rohit Sharma.
