Indian Navy commissions Anti-Submarine INS Anjadip

The Indian Navy on Friday commissioned its Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft called I.N.S. Anjadip in Tamil Nadu's Chennai city. Anjadip is a state-of-the-art vessel specifically designed to address the challenges of the littoral combat environment.

The vessel is engineered to focus on the detection, tracking, and, neutralization of enemy submarines in coastal areas. Its induction bolsters the Navy’s capacity to safeguard India’s vast maritime interests and coastal approaches including Tamil Nadu.
