Tour in Pyin Oo Lwin : Acting President inspects development works

Acting President and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing on Friday, inspected the development works in Pyin Oo Lwin.

The Acting President viewed the road upgrades, bridge building, drainage system, tar paving and thermo plastic paint works in Wards (8), (10) and Padetha New Town. At Pyin Oo Lwin Station Yard, officials reported on the development works, including football ground, stadium, staff housing, high-end hotels and market place.

The Acting President instructed for systematic implementation of the tasks, preserving the Pyin Oo Lwin and Kalaw Stations for their historical facts.

He stressed for urban development and greening environ, attracting local and foreign visitors, and operating sightseeing train between Pyin Oo Lwin to Gokteik Viaduct. They later inspected the upgrading works near Anisakan Airport, and instructed for long term implementation of tourism, trade activities and development.
