


Addressing a post-budget press conference in New Delhi, Finance Minister said the budget places medical and health education at the center of India’s next phase of healthcare expansion, aiming to strengthen capacity, improve access, and prepare the country for future healthcare challenges.
She added that the budget is designed to push the Indian economy to maintain its growth momentum, while continuing to focus on structural reforms that enhance productivity, competitiveness, and long-term stability.
