Visiting Taunggyi TU: Union Minister inspects Taunggyi Technological University

Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr Myo Thein Kyaw on Friday, inspected Taunggyi Technological University and sites planned for future development.

Accompanied by Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung, state ministers and officials, the Union Minister reviewed proposed sites for establishing a Polytechnic University in Taunggyi. He inspected planned locations for classrooms, laboratories, workshops, student hostels, staff housing, sports facilities, and reviewed budget allocations by fiscal year.

The Union Minister also inspected existing facilities at Taunggyi Technological University, including staff housing, student hostels, classrooms, computer labs, workshops, and the football field. He emphasized the importance of regional development research, human resource development, and producing skilled and innovative graduates to support national industrial development. He also called for continuous efforts to improve the learning environment, cleanliness, and greening of campus.
