






The Annual Meeting of the Luyechun (1964-1988) Association Central took place in Yangon on Thursday.
Founded in 2014, the association aims to supports new generation talent youths, and also to contribute to the needy community.
Soe Myint, Luyechun (1964-1988) Association Central, Chairman said "The Luyechun (1964-1988) Association Central was established on January, 2014 by former 30 Luyechuns. The aims of establishing the association is to provide health care assistance and educational stipends to those who are in needs. The association also conducts knowledge sharing sessions for next generation students along with the publishing of Luyechun Magazines and articles."
During the event, awards were presented to the outstanding students who passed the matriculation exam with high marks. A total of 11 students accepted the awards at the event.
Min Kyal Sin Than, Luyechun Student said "I was selected as Luyechun student for 2023,2024 and 2025 Academic Year. I’m here to grab the awards during the awarding ceremony. I would like to thank Luyechun (1964-1988) Association Central for presenting the awards and it is very memorable moment for me to meet the former Luyechuns. As a first year student of University of Information Technology, I want to be an IT technician in the future. I’d like to urge all the next generation Luyechun students to become outstanding ones for their family and the nation."
Luyechun are the versatile students who are physically and mentally excellece in the fields of education and other sectors. It is learnt that the association will award 4 remaining Luyechun students, scheduled on February 7 at the University of Medicine (Magway).
