Inspection of Factories: MCRD DM inspected factories under Heavy Industries

During the visit to Keng Tung Township in Shan State (East), the Acting President Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, directed the Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development to collaborate in upgrading local clay roofing tile production businesses into high-quality industrial manufacturing enterprises.

To implement this directive, a team led by Deputy Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Thaik Soe and a team led by the Managing Director of No. (2) Heavy Industries under the Ministry of Industry conducted observation visits. In the afternoon on January 28, they visited Factory No. 32 of No. (2) Heavy Industries, located in Yaydarshe Village, Wanekkchaung Village Tract, Hmawbi Township, Yangon Region. In the morning on January 29, they visited Factory No. 34 of No. (2) Heavy Industries, located in Thayawaddy Township, Bago Region.

In the afternoon, the Deputy Minister visited the Thayawaddy District Office of the Department of Rural Development. He met with district and township level staff under the ministry, urging them to collaboratively strive for the successful implementation of the Head of State's directives and the ministry's ongoing projects. He inquired about the individual difficulties faced by the staff and provided necessary support.

The Deputy Minister subsequently visited the clay roofing tile factory of Natural Clay Company Limited in Thandepin သန္ဓေပင် Ward, Hmawbi Township, Yangon Region, and the small-scale clay roofing tile production business of Ko Wei Zin in Bule-in Village, Bago Region, for observation and study, it’s learnt.
