







Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin and his wife (Patron of the State Women’s Affairs Association), along with the State Chief Justice, regional government members and their spouses, and departmental officials, donated rice and basic food supplies to Buddhist nuns in Sittwe on January 26. The donation ceremony took place in front of the Atula Marazein Pyi Lone Chan Thar Pagoda.
The Chief Minister and his wife, State Chief Justice, regional ministers, their spouses, and other departmental officials offered rice and essential food items to nuns from various nunneries across Sittwe.
Following the donation ceremony, Chief Minister and officials conducted an inspection of the newly installed CCTV camera system throughout Sittwe. They, first visited the CCTV Control Room to monitor live feeds from cameras across the city. Officials provided a detailed briefing on the installation process and the coverage areas. The Chief Minister then toured the city to inspect the solar-powered CCTV cameras installed along main roads, side streets, intersections, and high-traffic public areas. The project is part of ongoing efforts to enhance urban security and monitoring within the state capital, it’s reported.
