






The Kayah State Government is continuing its efforts to implement regional development projects. On January 26, State Chief Minister U Sein Oo, accompanied by state government members and officials, conducted a field inspection of livestock and infrastructure projects in Loikaw.
The Chief Minister first visited a model pig breeding farm established to promote the livestock sector and provide educational demonstrations for local breeders. The Head of Livestock and Veterinary Department reported on the successful progress of the second batch of pigs.
Following this, the Chief Minister inspected the Queen Bee Breeding Station (Apiculture Branch) in Yay Ni Kan Village. He observed the beekeeping operations and the sesame plantations grown as food sources for the bees, providing necessary instructions to the staff.
The Chief Minister and officials then visited the Loikaw District Road Management Department and inspected the construction of a new two-story reinforced concrete office building for the Assistant Director (Civil).
Afterward, the Chief Minister inspected the construction of a 225-meter concrete stone-lined drainage system and sidewalk along Main Road No. 4 in Daw Au Khu Ward.
Regarding the project, the Chief Minister emphasized, meeting high quality and departmental standards, completing the project within the scheduled timeframe, ensuring proper water flow and drainage, cleaning and tidying the roads and shoulders once construction is finished.
He concluded the inspection by coordinating with officials to address the requirements of the various projects, it’s reported.
