Inspection in Yangon: Wazira Cinema upgrades & Sarso Beikman construction

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn on Sunday, visited Wazira Cinema in Kyauktada Township to inspect its upgrading into an international-standard heritage cinema while preserving its original structure.

He emphasized using Myanmar Architectural and Engineering Council assessments to ensure quality and safety. The Union Minister then visited the three-story Sarso Beikman building under construction in Mingalataungnyunt Township, reviewing progress, quality, and safety measures. The Union Minister instructed timely completion, high-quality construction, proper landscaping, and collection of exhibition materials for cultural and educational use.
