Broadcast Development: MOI Union Minister tours MRTV in Yangon

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn inspected the Joint Venture Media with Myanma Radio and Television in Yangon on Sunday. At the Headquarters of MyanSat DTH Broadcasting and Distribution, the Union Minister heard reports by Chief Operation Officer regarding the work process, broadcasting via 156 TV channels, sales of MyanSats STB and MRTV DTH STB , in which the Union Minister coordinated the necessaries.

The Union Minister then visited the office of Shwe FM where the Company MD presented the status of production office and Studio, transmission via sub-stations and live broadcast of MRTV Radio news. The Union Minister and party also observed the site of 200 Meter Earth Station and heard reports by officials regarding the status of tower and workshop, maintenance plan, use of the station and Skynet DTH Control.

They then proceeded to Forever Company Headquarters where officials presented the management system, production and broadcasting of Mandalay FM and PyinSaWaddy FM (Teen Radio). Next, the Union Minister viewed the Radio Studios where he made greeting to FM audience via Live broadcast.

He also inspected the installation of 250 ton and 125 ton Chiller System for the building including Studio-A and related studios and instructed to check and maintain the AHU and Duct Lines, and to test operation for 500 KVA transformers.
