







On 24th January, Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe, accompanied by concerned officials visited Min Kone Village in Hlegu Township, Yangon Region and inspected Min Kone- War Yar Kone inter-village road concrete paving process, initiated with 2025-2026 Union Fund.
Once the road is completed, over 12,000 population and more than 1,000 acres of plantations from 5 villages will be benefited. At War Yar Kone Village, the Union Minister and officials inspected the village road concrete paving and coordinated necessities on sufficient agricultural water supply upon.
Then, the Union Minister inspected the fence of Basic Education Primary School and 2,400 gallons water tank for sufficient water supply constructed with 2025-2026 Union Fund and coordinated necessities. Subsequently, the Union Minister and party proceeded to Co-operative College (Phaung Gyi), met with the faculty members and coordinated to ensure sustainable solar powered electricity.
The Union Minister also met with the students, encouraged them to become cooperative economics specialists and fulfilled necessities. Later, the Union Minister met with members of 3 cooperative associations and departmental officials from Hlegu Township.
There, the Union Minister instructed on systematic utilization of agricultural inputs allocated by the state, choosing quality varieties to meet target yields, strict adherence to instructions of the agriculture department to secure better income generation as well as regular repayment of loan disbursed by the government. The Union Minister also provided agricultural inputs to cooperative associations.
