Development Works : Kaladan River channel dredging project

On 24th January, Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin accompanied by concerned officials visited Myanma Port Authority owned Phaung Taw Gyi Jetty to inspect the arrival of dredging vessel to implement Kaladan River channel dredging project.

During the inspection, the Chief Minister heard reports presented by Myanma Port Authority Official on water depth condition of Phaung Taw Gyi Jetty, Kaladan Multi-Modal Transit Transport facility, preparations to implement dredging project, vessels docking condition and cargo loading and unloading process. Upon reports, the Chief Minister emphasized on systematic operation according to weather condition and inspected the river channel condition.
