Agricultural Development: Meeting with the Indian delegation

Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr. Tin Htut met with Secretary of the Indian Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Smt. Nidhi Khare and party at Novotel Hotel in Yangon on Thursday.

During the meeting, they cordially discussed the promotion of trade in agriculture sector between Myanmar and India, steadiness of import policy and bilateral cooperation, and comprehensive development of agricultural production chain. The discussion also focused on extended conducting of technical awareness training on pest protection for producing quality beans and pulses, and promoting mutual cooperation on research and technological development.
