Central Committee Meeting: Central Farmland Management Comm. held its 17th meeting

The 17th coordination meeting of the Central Farmland Management Committee was held at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation in Nay Pyi Taw on January 21.

During the meeting, Chairman of the Central Farmland Management Committee Union Minister U Min Naung, delivered the opening remarks. He stated that this 17th meeting under the current administration aims to discuss and finalize decisions on all pending case files to ensure their completion.

Certain urgent matters that were previously approved through the consensus of members via circular letter will be formally documented and recorded during this session. Subsequently, the Secretary of the Central Farmland Management Committee presented the status of completed tasks and addressed the matter of reclassifying upland, where paddy is currently being cultivated, into farm land. Members of the Central Committee then discussed and scrutinized each case individually.
