








Myanmar won four gold medals at the 13th ASEAN Para Games, hosted by Thailand, on 21 January.
The first and second gold medals for Myanmar were won in swimming by Aung Myint Myat and Nanda Soe Min. The third and fourth gold medals were secured in athletics, with Tin Nyo winning gold in the men’s shot put and Htet Htet Aye claiming gold in the women’s discus event.
Myanmar athletes competed in athletics, swimming, blind football, blind chess, table tennis, sitting volleyball and football, winning a total of eight medals: four gold, three silver and one bronze. Myanmar will continue competing on 22 January in events including swimming, athletics, blind chess, blind goalball, sitting volleyball, football, shooting, table tennis, boccia and bowling.
