Meeting with Officials, Ranks : SSPC Chairman C-in-CDS met with officials and ranks

Chairman of State Security and Peace Commission Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by high-ranking military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, visited the Triangle Region Command area to inspect regional security measures and met with military personnel and their families on January 19.

Upon arrival at the Triangle Region Command, Commander Major General Soe Hlaing provided a detailed briefing in the meeting hall regarding border security matters and cooperation with neighboring countries, efforts to eliminate online fraud and gambling within the command area, drug seizures and ongoing anti-narcotic operations, regional stability and the implementation of security protocols.

Following the briefing, the Senior General provided necessary guidance on the matters presented. In the afternoon, the Senior General met with officers, ranks, and their families at the Pyi Nyein Aye Hall of the Command. During the meeting, he highlighted the f key points including Phases 1 and 2 of the 2025 Multi-Party Democracy General Election were successfully held in the Triangle Region and urged everyone to cooperate for the successful implementation of the upcoming Phase 3, regardless of changes in political administrations, the Tatmadaw must fulfill its core duties of national security and defense, personnel must constantly undergo military training and participate in competitive sports to cultivate courage.

He noted that "skill makes a person capable, but wisdom makes a person good," emphasizing that formal education is the foundation for professional skills, all personnel to maintain the quality and standards of the Tatmadaw by dutifully executing their assigned tasks etc.

After the speech, the Senior General inquired about the needs of the officials and ranks and presented food supplies for the military families, which were accepted by the Region Commander. He then cordially greeted the attendees. Later, the Senior General and officials visited the Local Advanced Military Training School in the Kyaing tong station.

After hearing a briefing from the Commandant, he provided guidance and proceeded to inspect the trainees' mess hall. He concluded the visit by touring the training school grounds by vehicle to inspect the facilities.
