UEC Notification: UEC issues Notification No.17/2026

The Union Election Commission issued Notification No.17/2026 on Saturday, regarding the announcement of the list of names elected as the Region/ State Hluttaw Representatives.

The notification states that according to the notifications issued by the relevant Region or State Election Sub-Commissions in accordance with Section 49(b) of the Region/ State Hluttaw Election Law for the Multi-Party Democracy General Election conducted in phases starting from December 28, 2025.

47 individuals are hereby declared elected as the Hluttaw Representatives for the Region/ State Hluttaw in respective constituencies of Kachin State, Kayah State and Sagaing Region. The detailed vote counts for each Region/ State Hluttaw candidate will be published in daily newspapers and also posted on the Union Election Commission Office's website: www.uec.gov.mm.
