Tourism Development : Hotel operation in Mandalay inspected

The Ministry of Hotels and Tourism is working in cooperation with the related ministries and region and state governments for development of tourism industry in the country, along with the human resources needed for providing better services.

On January 17, Union Minister Jeng Phang Naw Taung inspected the state-owned Tun Hla Hotel, being rented to private entrepreneurs, in Mandalay. 

During the inspection, the Union Minister instructed for capacity building of hotel staff, cleanliness and beautifying in the compound and systematic car parking for convenience of the visitors as well as extended implementation of the tasks for creating more employment opportunities for the locals.
