Development Works: MOEP Union Minister makes inspection in Loikaw

On 15th January, Union Minister for Electric Power U Nyan Tun met with the electric power personnel at State Electric Power Engineering Department in Loikaw Township.

During the meeting, the Union Minister urged all to complete the ongoing projects within set financial years, full percent electric bills collection, sufficient electricity distribution in summer, continuous monitoring and maintenance of generators , welfare of the staff, systematic data compilation as well as strict security measures of 230 KV Nay Pyi Taw Grid.

Subsequently, officials made clarifications on electricity distribution within state, power outage preventive measures, power distribution condition of  Belu Creek No.1, 2 and 3 Hydropower plants and condition of 230KV Shwe Myo power grid and 132 KV Ti Kyit power grid.

The Union Minister coordinated necessities upon clarifications and provided necessary supplies for the stuff. 

Then, the Union Minister and party proceeded to 4-storey Staff Housing construction site at State Electric Power Engineering Department, inspected the construction process and gave necessary instructions on quality and resilience of the housing meeting established standards and safety.

The Union Minister also instructed on cleanliness of the housing, systematic power usage, fire safety and encouraged to grow vegetable plantations.
