Inspection of Construction Works: Taninthayi Region CM inspected construction works

Tanintharyi Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko, accompanied by the Minister for Natural Resources and other officials, inspected the construction progress of the cargo terminal building at Kawthaung Airport on the morning of January 15.

First, the responsible person from the construction company carrying out the work on the Kawthaung Airport cargo terminal building project explained and presented the ongoing work areas at the airport, the progress status of completed tasks, and records of the ongoing construction of the Kawthaung Airport cargo terminal building (120 x 60 feet).

Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko then gave instructions, urging that the construction of cargo terminal building and the ongoing work within Kawthaung Airport including the asphalt sealing of the runway, the runway extension and sub-base layer work, and the airport perimeter fencing work must be completed with quality and on schedule, and that coordination and cooperation with the relevant departments and organizations should be carried out, it’s reported.
