Religious Affairs: Meeting for Majjhima Linkara Tharmanaykyaw Exam

The meeting for the Majjhima Linkara Tharmanaykyaw examination and title conferring ceremony was held in Yangon on November 9. According to the meeting, the religious examination will be held on December 14, 15, and 16 at Majjhima Gonyi Mahasi Yeiktha (Hlegu) , Nibbana Seik U Mahasi Sasana Yeiktha and Dhammam Yan Thi Mogok Yeiktha (Hlegu) .

Over 2,500 members of the Sangha from across the country will participate in the exam. There are currently over 700 members of the Sangha who have attained the Majjhima Linkara Tharmanaykyaw. The results with three levels will be released within three days after the examination and the title conferring ceremony will be held on January 18. The nationwide examination has now been held for four years, from 2022 to 2025.

At this meeting, attendees offered cash and donation items to the participating members of the Sangha. Furthermore, donation was made for the construction of a Beikman that can accommodate approximately 1,200 members of the Sangha for rest and examination purposes.
