









Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein, together with regional ministers and officials, visited the Puma Power International Port Terminal in Katone Paw Village of Mudon Township, to inspect fuel storage and distribution operations.
Officials explained that under the supervision of the Mon State Government, Myanmar Energy King (MEK) Co., Ltd and Yar Zar Min Industry Co., Ltd are importing and storing fuel at the terminal to ensure steady fuel supply across the state.
The Chief Minister urged responsible departments to prevent fuel shortages, speed up fuel distribution, and ensure fair pricing. He also emphasized strict measures against illegal fuel sales. During the visit, the Chief Minister inspected the unloading of 8,000 tons of fuel from the vessel into storage tanks and observed refueling operations for fuel trucks.
The Chief Minister instructed officials to maintain fire safety, ensure stable retail prices, and make fuel easily accessible to the public throughout Mon State.
