Meeting & Inspection : Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman Gives Guidance

The Nay Pyi Taw-level departmental work coordination meeting was held on Friday at the Zabu Thiri Hall of the Nay Pyi Taw Council. U Than Htun Oo, Chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw Council and concerned officials attended the meeting.

There, the Chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw Council delivered an opening speech, emphasizing the need for accurate compilation of voter lists for holding the multi-party democratic general election, and giving priority to ensuring all eligible voters can cast their ballots.

He also spoke about developing production and MSME businesses based on agricultural and livestock products; expanding tree planting for greening and environmental conservation within Nay Pyi Taw; implementing annual plan targets beyond the set projections; cooperating for regional development; and taking special security precautions to prevent the leakage of office documents and information.

Following this, attendees individually presented and discussed matters related to their respective sectors, after which the Chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw Council provided necessary guidance and coordinated the implementation. On the same day, he inspected the asphalt paving status of the road sections damaged by the earthquake in Dekkhinathiri Township, as well as the progress of greening efforts.

He gave instructions to complete the work quickly within the designated time and provided other necessary guidance.
