Performing Arts Competition: SSPC Chairman enjoys the competitions in Nay Pyi Taw

Acting President and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife visited the venues of the 26th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition on Saturday.

The Acting President and wife and party enjoyed the competing of musical instrument performances of contestants in basic education level which include playing open-ended drum, short drum, harp and piano. They also greeted the judges and contestants.

With the aims to explore, preserve, and enhance Myanmar’s national prestige, integrity, and distinctive cultural heritage, to promote and exemplify the spirit of national solidarity and unity through Myanma art, to hand down the traditional performing arts to the younger generation, and to function as a national cultural and artistic institution contributing to the State’s socioeconomic development, the 26th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition is being held at the respective venues in a grand manner.

Contestants from Regions and States are competing their respective categories with eagerness with the support of the enthusiasts.
