










26th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition continued at the respective venues in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday. The fourth day of the competition saw the dancing contests of ethnic people and rural area, singing contests of higher education level men and women, musical instrument performance contests including harp, xylophone, piano, and traditional orchestra.
The Union Level Personnel, union ministers, deputy ministers, senior military officers, officials from the ministries and organizations, staff and students enjoyed the competitions. Aiming to preserve and promote Myanmar’s cultural identity, strengthen national unity through arts, pass down traditional arts to younger generations, and contribute to social and cultural development in the country, the 26th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition is being held from October 7 to 13. Compared to the previous year, this year's competition has seen the increase in participation of contestants, with total numbers of 1,661.
