Election Awareness-raising: Election awareness-raising posters installed

A ceremony to inaugurate the installation of election awareness-raising posters for the public to support the successful holding of the 2025 Multi-Party Democracy General Election was held at a public and visible location near the Horse Riding Statue on Azarni Road, Dawei Township, Tanintharyi Region on October 8.

At the ceremony, the Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko, Chief Justice of the Region High Court Daw Paik Paik Aye, and Chairman of the Region Sub Election Commission U Thein Win opened the posters containing awareness and encouragement messages urging the public to vote to protect their citizen rights for the successful conduct of the 2025 Multi-Party Democracy General Election.

Subsequently, the Chief Minister and responsible officials took group photos with the attendees and awarded cash prizes to the Pom Pom Dance group and Drum and Bugle band, which performed at the event.

Sub Election Commission officials distributed election-related educational pamphlets to the attendees of the poster installation ceremony.

To successfully hold the 2025 Multi-Party Democracy General Election, election awareness-raising posters have been installed in locations visible to travelers, local residents, and the public. These locations include one near Azani Road by the Horse Riding Statue, one near the No. 8 Basic Education High School on the Expressway, one at the intersection of Kamyawkin Road and San Chi Junction, one at the corner of Azani Road and U Kyaw Yin Road, and one near the Sipin Thar Yar Market. Additionally, it is reported that similar posters have been installed in other public places visible in the respective districts and townships.
