





The Kayah State Government is implementing initiatives to develop Loikaw City into a clean and green city. In the morning of October 8, State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin, along with State Government members and relevant department officials, inspected the cleanliness and beautification efforts at Loikaw Airport and the implementation of regional development projects.
First, the State Chief Minister and the responsible officials arrived at Loikaw Airport and inspected the clearance of bushes and grass along both sides of the runway using machinery, ensuring it meets the specified standards. The responsible officials explained the progress of the work.
Subsequently, the State Chief Minister and the responsible officials inspected the ongoing renovation of the staff housing for the State Development Affairs in the Daw-U Khu ward. Responsible officials from the department of State Development Affairs explained the completed work.
Next, they proceeded to Naung Yar Kan Thar and inspected the facilities provided for public recreation and leisure, as well as the shops selling traditional food and traditional clothing that have been opened.
Afterwards, they inspected the construction progress of the Loikaw Township Development Affairs Office building, which is being built with funds approved by the State Government. Responsible officials explained the completed work.
Following this, they toured and inspected the work performance of the staff at the department of State Development Affairs office and warmly met with the staff, offering words of encouragement.
