On the Full Moon Day of Thadingyut (Abhidhamma Day), under the management of the Kachin State Government, the state capital, Myitkyina, was vibrantly and joyously celebrated. Activities included lighting and offering 1,000 oil lamps at ancient, historically significant pagodas in the city, releasing hot-air balloons as offerings, and hosting Satuditha-charitable food offerings, creating a peaceful, joyful, and prosperous atmosphere.

On this Thadingyut Full Moon Day (the Abhidhamma Day), as people freely and happily relaxed and performed meritorious deeds, State Chief Minister U Hket Htein Nan and his wife, the State Chief Justice, members of the State Government and their wives, and responsible officials first visited the ancient, historic Lawka Man Aung Su Taung Pyae Pagoda in the Thi-tar Ward of Myitkyina and the ancient, historic An Taw Shin Pagoda in the Yan Gyi Aung Ward. Together with the public who had come to worship and perform meritorious deeds, they lit and offered 1,000 oil lamps, circumambulated the pagodas clockwise, and observed and supported the Satuditha offerings of rice congee provided by the Township General Administration Department staff.

Subsequently, the State Chief Minister and officials visited the People's Square and the Ayar-Oo Park along the Ayeyarwady River bank in the Min-yat Ward. They observed and supported the festive arrangements, which included decorations with colorful serial lights and stage music performances by local ethnic singers. The area was bustling with visitors enjoying themselves, unlike in previous years. The State Chief Minister and responsible officials also went around distributing Satuditha offerings, which were being provided by various departments on a rotational basis during the Thadingyut festival period.

Furthermore, the State Chief Minister and officials proceeded to the Thadingyut charity bazaar being held at the North Command Headquarters to commemorate the Full Moon Day of Thadingyut (Abhidhamma Day). Together with the Commander, Deputy Commander, and senior military officers, they toured the charity bazaar. They observed and supported the Satuditha-food stalls offering traditional foods, prepared and hosted by regiments/units under the supervision of the Command Headquarters, presented incentive funds, and watched song performances.

Similarly, they visited the Majoi Hall in the Sitarpu Manaw Ground in Myitkyina to observe and support a fundraising performance for the rehabilitation of drug-addicted youth, featuring a stage performance by the nationally famous singer Naw Naw. They contributed and donated 2 million Kyats as a donation.

Additionally, in the morning at 8 AM, the State Chief Minister and his wife, the State Chief Justice, members of the State Government and their wives, along with responsible officials, conducted the installation and opening of ground billboards in wards of Myitkyina Township. This was done to provide public awareness education related to elections, aimed at supporting the successful holding of the 2025 Multi-Party Democracy General Election, it is learned.
