Central Committee Meeting: Discussion on ensuring smooth flow of trade and goods

Central Committee on Ensuring Smooth Flow of Trade and Goods held its work coordination meeting in Nay Pyi Taw on 2nd October.

During the meeting, Union Minister for Commerce U Chit Swe in his capacity as chairman of the central committee highlighted the pivotal role of smooth trade and good flow in nation’s economic and social sector as well as in international relations.

He also called for the concerted efforts of the relevant organizations, ministries and individuals in ensuring smooth trade and good flow, emphasizing on import volume enhancement, reducing trade deficit. Next, the attendees made sector-wise presentations and clarifications on ensuring seamless flow of trade and goods. The meeting was concluded with the closing remarks of the chairman of the central committee.
