Work Undertakings: Victory flag presenting and farmland management meeting

Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan presented a victory flag and over 24 million kyat in cash assistance to the Kachin State team set to compete in the 26th Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition, to be held in Nay Pyi Taw from October 7 to 11.

During the event, the Chief Minister encouraged the preservation and promotion of Myanmar’s traditional culture and heritage. He then enjoyed performances by the state’s selected cultural dance troupes. A total of 108 participants, including performers, coaches, and guardians, will travel to compete in 24 categories.

In the afternoon, the Chief Minister attended the coordination meeting of the Kachin State Farmland Management Committee. He emphasized proper handling of farmland use requests, strict legal enforcement against unauthorized land use, and the need for transparency and compliance with rules and regulations.

The meeting discussed six cases of land use change requests and 14 cases of prior unauthorized land use, reviewing them in line with legal procedures.
