










The opening ceremony of the practical legal training course number (2) for law-specialized students from Naypyitaw State Academy was held at the Ministry of Legal Affairs meeting hall on Tuesday.
Union Minister for Legal Affairs and Union Attorney General Dr. Thida Oo attended the opening ceremony and, delivered opening remarks, mentioned that the internship program for law-specialized students from Naypyitaw State Academy under the Ministry of Legal Affairs and the Ministry of Education has now reached its second session.
She stated that the Ministry of Legal Affairs’ strategies from 2015 to 2019 were “Moving Forward to the Rule of Law,” from 2020 to 2024 “Providing Legal Service For Justice,” and for the current 2025 to 2029 period, “Building Legal Trust for the People.”
As part of these strategic plans, the law students from the Ministry of Legal Affairs and the respective law departments of various universities are aimed to provide practical workplace training. The first training course was successfully launched in 2024, and she encouraged the participants of the current course to study diligently.
She emphasized that legal education is important and vital, and urged the students to apply the practical knowledge and skills they gain from this training effectively in their future legal studies, their respective workplaces, and for the benefit of the nation.
Subsequently, the Rector of Naypyitaw State Academy explained the teaching methods of Naypyitaw State Academy and expressed special gratitude for providing law students with the opportunity to gain knowledge and understanding about practical workplace activities through this course.
Then, on behalf of the students, a student representative introduced themselves and expressed thanks. The second batch of the law education course will be conducted practically for six weeks from October 1 to November 13, 2025. After the ceremony, the Union Minister and Union Attorney General, and the students from Naypyitaw State Academy took commemorative photographs, it’s learnt.
