Additional Allowances : Additional allowance of 30,000 kyats granted

The Ministry of Finance and Revenue has issued a Notification No. (110/2025) on September 30, 2025, which grants additional allowances to current and retired civil servants serving the state.

The said notification consists of seven parts and describes that, in addition to the current allowance of 60,000 kyats granted monthly to the civil service personnel and the military personnel (Army, Navy, Air Force), an additional exact amount of 30,000 kyats will be granted monthly as an additional allowance.

For daily wage employees and daily laborers, in addition to the current allowance of 2,000 kyats, an additional 1,000 kyats will be granted as an additional allowance, thus permitting a daily wage of exactly 7,800 kyats for daily laborers. For retired civil servants, in addition to the current allowance of 30,000 kyats, an additional exact amount of 30,000 kyats will be granted monthly as an additional allowance. This order is effective from October 1, 2025.
