The Union Election issued a public request statement for the Voter Citizens on September 29.
In the statement, it’s described that (1) The Union Election Commission will publicly post the voter lists for the first time for the General Election starting on 28th December 2025. The posting will be for a period of 14 days, from 30-9-2025 to 13-10-2025, at the relevant Ward/Village Tract Commission Sub-office and in villages within the Village Tract.
If, for various reasons, the lists cannot be posted in the Wards and Village Tracts, arrangements will be made for the voter lists to be viewed at the respective Township Commission Sub-offices. A complete and accurate voter list can only be achieved if voters come to inspect the lists during the public posting period. (2) Voters are requested to come and inspect the voter list. If your name is not included in the list, you should submit a request for inclusion using Form (3). If the list includes persons who should not be included, an objection should be raised using Form (4). If the information in the voter list is incorrect, submit a correction using Form (4-C). The necessary forms can be obtained free of charge from the Ward/Village Tract Sub-Commission offices.
After such additions, deletions, and corrections are processed, the final voter list for the General Election will be publicly posted for the last time during November 2025. Voters will then be able to make any further necessary requests, corrections, or objections. 3. Therefore, in order to obtain a complete and accurate voter list, voter citizens are earnestly requested to cooperate by ensuring that at least one person from each household comes to inspect the list without fail.
