Ground Inspection Tour: Rakhine State CM inspected development works

On the morning of September 26, Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin, along with members of the State Government and responsible officials from state, district, and township-level departments, conducted a field inspection of development projects in Kyaukpyu Township, Rakhine State.

First, the State Chief Minister and officials visited the Nagar Kyaung Pariyatti Sarthintaik in Kyaukpyu Township to pay respects to the Sayadaws withinhe Township. Then, they offered donations of robes, rice, cooking oil, and other donation items.

Afterwards, the State Chief Minister and officials visited Made Island in Kyaukpyu Township to inspect the Southeast Asia Oil and Natural Gas Pipeline Project and the piers where oil tankers dock. They met with project officials at the project office's meeting hall and provided necessary instructions.

In the afternoon, the Chief Minister met with district and township-level departmental officials, teachers, and ward administrators at the Rammawadi Hall in Kyaukpyu. Following the discussions, they distributed rice and other basic food commodities to the district and township-level departments. They also provided solar lights to enable street lighting via solar power in Kyaukpyu Township and literary books for the development of libraries.

Later, the State Chief Minister and officials visited the Kyaukpyu District 200-bed General Hospital to observe the installation of 100 KVA solar power systems aimed at ensuring 24-hour electricity supply. Company officials explained the status of the arrival and installation of solar components, completion progress, and the current power distribution situation. The State Chief Minister issued necessary instructions, visited and encouraged patients receiving treatment at the hospital, provided them with nutritional supplements, and warmly met and greeted the District Public Health Director, specialists, doctors, nurses, and health staff. The State Chief Minister and his wife then provided food items and cash rewards for the doctors, nurses, and health staff.

They also visited the Kyaukpyu Township Home for the Aged, met with members of the home's management committee, donated funds for the home, and offered requisite items and food supplies to the elderly residents.

Afterwards, the State Chief Minister and officials visited a search and rescue demonstration conducted by township fire brigade members and police force members at the entrance of Kyaukpyu Township, observed the demonstration to show support, and provided cash rewards to the personnel.
